A really smart, fortified shiraz, crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Full of warm spices, like mum’s honey biscuits, but with touches of English pot pureé and red fruit. Even the curiously shaped bottle adds to the special character of this little number.
There’s a bit of sweetness about it, but this is beautifully tempered by the brandy spirit (some of it about 15 years old) which leaves a clean and silky mouthfeel and luscious finish.
