Bleasdale Generations Wines celebrate multiple generations of family involvement and grower relationships. Shiraz was the first red grape variety planted in Langhorne Creek at Bleasdale in 1858 and continues to thrive today. Individual vineyard blocks are picked and crushed separately before maturation and blending.

Flavours of ripe plums and other dark berries are layered with liquorice, pepper and fresh spices, these marry beautifully with subtle oak nuances giving a complex wine balanced by smooth round tannins.

“Open-fermented as per Bleasdale modus operandi followed by 12 months in puncheons and hogsheads. Nice forward, open fragrance of red and black fruit, hints of cordite, breezy soft tannins the 22% new oak all but soaked up. Balance and poise. Gold medal Perth Wine Show ‘17.” – 95 Points & Special Value Wine David Bicknell for James Halliday’s Wine Companion
