“Beautiful wine. So brightly lit, spicy, red fruited, almond, white pepper and orange peel. Medium-bodied, fine graphite tannin with something of a dusty peppery feel too, juicy and bursting with energy, a little pomegranate and cranberry acidity, and a long spicy finish of wonderful length and freshness. Italianate, yes, for sure. I said of the 2020 that it put me in mind of Pelaverga, and this does too, though with a little bit extra. Outstanding. What a great wine! Buy it.
