95 Points & Special Value Wine James Halliday
Made by Larry Cherubino
Premium parcels of grapes were specially selected from a range of sites across the Margaret River region, from Karridale in the south through to Wilyabrup in the north, to create a well balanced, medium weight style in the citrus mould. Matured for a short time in a variety of French oak barriques, twenty per cent new. They deliberately avoided the traditional secondary malolactic fermentation in order to retain the wine’s long fine acidity.
“Plots its course quietly but expertly, the colour still undeveloped (a good thing), white peach and nectarine fruit setting the course for now or later, because there will be no fundamental change with bottle age, just a slow increase in weight from mid to full.” – 95 Points & Special Value Wine James Halliday
