Luminosa is situated at the top of the prestigious Boodjidup Valley, part of the Wallcliffe sub-region of southern Margaret River. An area renowned for producing some of the most internationally acclaimed Chardonnays from Margaret River
A true creation from the vineyard. Vine by vine nurturing and curation captures the sun & sea breeze. Signature scents of red fruits, blue fruits and violets from perfectly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. Elegant structure meets medium bodied luxury.
“Black fruit, raspberry, baking spice, violet, maybe a little seaweed. It’s tightly-packed, intense berry fruit, tasteful spicy oak, again that umami kind of nori thing happening, freshness, tight graphite tannin, saline, savoury and perfumed on a long finish. Tops.” – 96 Points Gary Walsh, Winefront
“Deep ruby-red core into a bright purple rim. The nose lifts with blueberry and cassis, underscored by a hint of cigar box and wakame. Power with poise, the fruit is perfectly-ripe black and blue berries, layered amongst this is a line of umami salinity and a softening spice and cedar-wood element from thoughtful oak use. The tannins are fine and supple on entry, building their presence as the wine’s power builds in synchronicity. That intensity and flow carries it long to the finish, which when it eventually arrives is a clean and perfumed delight. This is very close to perfection.” – 99 Points & 5 Stars Stuart Knox, The Real Review
