Picked in the cool of the morning and open top fermented. Hand plunged 3-4 times a day to extract rich colour and a complex mid-palate. Matured for 13months in a combination of French and American oak.
“You might be forgiven for swapping the regions of this and its Tomich Hill McLaren Vale Shiraz sibling in a blind tasting, for this is medium to full-bodied. It is very complex in flavour, texture and structure, dark cherry and spice lifting the back-palate, finish and aftertaste to level all of its own.” – 96 Points & Special Value Wine James Halliday
